Live In Peace ~ Not In Pieces

Recently, someone sent me a text message which stated “Matthew 5:9 “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of YAH.”

So, I asked myself “What does that really mean?” Does it mean that we shouldn’t have disagreements as belivers of YAH or in the world as a whole (for that matter)?

No, though the Apostle Paul solicited the assembly to be of one mind and one accord and having an effort of single mindedness towards one another for the common purpose of exalting the Messiah, he had disagreements with other leaders such as Barabbas.

So, does it mean that I should conform and agree with every leader, whether spiritual or political leader? To follow and believe someone else’s point of views, even if it’s not factual or biblically proven?

No, Because John the beloved in the book of I John 4:1: told us not to put faith in or not to believe every spirit (or being) but prove/discover whether or not that being, spirit, or person proceeds from YAH…

So, what does it mean?

All of a sudden, I began remembering that the bible tells us in Isaiah 9:6, as well as other places, found in scripture literature -- that speaks of the Messiah being called the “Prince of Peace”.

Then my mind ran across the statement that Yahawashi (known to many as Jesus) made in St. John 16:33, when he stated that our peace is in him, because -- IN THIS WORLD -- we will have trials and tribulations, and not necessarily always have peace (freedom from disturbance; quiet and tranquility) in this life.

Furthermore, my mind ventured to Paul’s letter to the assembly in Thessalonica when he stated that “For when they shall say, peace and safety; then sudden destruction -- I Thessalonians 5:3” as he wrote a letter to the assembly regarding the Son of YAH ’s return.

So, I’ll conclude with this: Blessed are the peacemakers can be stated as -- Blessed are those who makes Yahawashi their peace or those who have found peace in Yahawashi; for they shall be called the children of YAH or the children of the Prince of Peace - and even though you and I may still have disagreements – we can still share the unity of peace from within.
